Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Groundwork, the drone-survey processing platform operated by Javelina Works, Inc.

Draft, pending legal review. This document is a working scaffold and is not yet binding. Final language will be prepared with counsel before launch.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Groundwork, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Accounts & organizations

You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Work in Groundwork is scoped to an organization; the organization is the billing entity and controls access to its surveys, imagery, and processed outputs.

3. Your content and ownership

You retain ownership of the imagery you upload and the outputs we generate from it (orthophotos, models, reports). You grant Javelina Works the limited license needed to store, process, and serve that content in order to provide the service.

You represent that you have the rights to the imagery you upload and that flying and capturing it complied with applicable airspace, drone, and privacy laws. See the Acceptable Use section.

4. Acceptable use

  • Follow all applicable airspace, drone-operation, and privacy laws — that's on the operator.
  • Don't upload content you don't have the rights to, or that's unlawful.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse shared processing resources.

5. Fees & billing

Paid plans are billed on a consumption basis (processing compute and stored data). Specific pricing, invoicing, and refund terms will be described on the pricing page and in your plan. [Placeholder — to be finalized with the billing model.]

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." Processed outputs are provided without warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose; you're responsible for validating results before relying on them. To the extent permitted by law, Javelina Works' liability is limited. [Placeholder — exact limitations pending legal review.]

7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination, data handling follows our Privacy Policy and your plan.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; we'll note the effective date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice.
