How Javelina Works, Inc. collects, uses, and protects information when you use Groundwork.

Information we collect

Account information: your name and email, and the organizations you belong to.
Content you upload: drone imagery and its embedded metadata (EXIF/XMP), which can include capture time, camera details, and GPS coordinates.
Processed outputs: orthophotos, models, and reports we generate from your imagery.
Usage & product analytics: how the app is used, collected to improve the product.
Operational logs: technical logs needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

To provide the service: store your imagery, run processing, and serve results.
To operate, secure, and improve the platform.
To communicate with you about your account and support requests.
To handle billing for paid plans.

Sharing & subprocessors

We don't sell your data. We rely on infrastructure and service providers (subprocessors) to run Groundwork — for example hosting, database and storage, billing, and analytics. A dedicated subprocessors list is in progress and will be linked here.

Data retention

We keep your content and account data for as long as your organization uses the service, and remove it within a reasonable period after deletion or account closure, subject to legal and backup constraints. [Placeholder — specific windows to be finalized.]

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is isolated per organization at the database level. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond to issues promptly.

Your rights
